Our popular seminar is the opportunity to update yourself on key topics of interest and network with like-minded clerks and councillors.  The day will include sessions led by the Norfolk PTS team and invited speakers, as well as break-out sessions during the afternoon.

In this 2-hour session you will learn how to produce minutes and policy documents with ease using Microsoft Word.

In this course, you will get lots of tips about working with your budget spreadsheet such as how to total between the sheets, how to make your formula work, and how to make a copy of an existing sheet.

Many councils either have a finance committee or one or two nominated councillors that assist the Responsible Financial Officer with preparing the budget each Autumn for the following financial year.

If you are new to this process or would like to pick up tips on what's required/what to look for/questions to ask during the budget-setting process, then this course is for you.

Taking on the role of Parish Clerk can be daunting, particularly without prior experience and little opportunity for a full handover.  We'll share practical tips and key documents so that you can hit the ground running.
