COUNCILLORS NETWORKING (OCT)

Time:

10 am - 11.30 am

We've been supporting clerks and chairpeople at our regular networking mornings for some time and recently were asked, "what about councillors?"  This informal session is for councillors who want to understand their role better and to ask/share ideas.

Date:

Tuesday, 26 October 2021

Venue:

Held online

Tutor:

Sara Campbell

Cost:

Free to all chairs while these sessions are held online

One of the Norfolk PTS team will host the morning, bringing along useful discussion topics and will happily take away any questions that can't be answered during the morning to research and report back.

If you can't make the whole discussion don't worry - please feel free to come and go as you wish.

Booking is essential - email us to book a place.  We'll send you a link to join our online meeting.  Don't worry if you've never joined an online meeting before, we are all learning!

Notes:

We'll send you a link via email a day or two before the session is due to be held, so you can just click on the link to join in. You'll need a laptop, tablet or smartphone with a camera; if you haven't tried this technology before that's fine - we'll happily conduct a quick test session with you the day before if you like.

Comments from our recent Councillors' Networking Sessions held online:

Thanks for running the session today. It was great to meet and discuss things with other councillors, to share our experiences and to confirm that we all have so much in common. I hope that this becomes a regular event. An informal setting such as this is really needed during these difficult times. DB

Thank you very much, Sara, for this morning's networking session. Very useful, friendly and supportive. I will definitely sign up for another one. DP

I really enjoyed meeting the other councillors and hearing about their councils in a relaxed atmosphere. Very interesting to hear the contrast between larger and smaller councils. PC

Thank you for hosting today's networking session. I enjoyed meeting yourself [Luisa] and the other councillors. It was very interesting. RF
