Could you benefit from some 1-2-1 training Word training from an IT trainer?  Are you concerned about how you should be meet the new Accessibility laws that require you to make your documents Accessible?  Norfolk PTS can provide you with short training sessions from our associate Helen Fooks who has experience of working with people at all skill levels and on different versions of Word.

This course is recommended for all clerks and staff who work with Word and are responsible for documents that will be used on the council's website.

Styles and headings

Saving files as an Accessible PDF (PDF/A format)

File properties


During the training, Helen will work on your last set of minutes and one of your policy documents.  You can work through these documents to make them Website Accessible.


For those of you who want to expand your knowledge further, Helen has also devised three additional sessions for those who wish to learn more: Further Word, Excel for Website Accessibility and Excel the Fundamentals.

Notes:

Helen will send you an email link that will allow you to share your screen with her, so that she can see what you're doing. You'll be able to see and hear Helen on screen as she talks you through the lesson. The pace and complexity of the lesson will be tailored to suit your needs and experience.
