Councils occasionally require a locum clerk to cover for sickness, maternity absences or to bridge the gap between a clerk leaving and another starting. You might also need a locum clerk if you have additional work or projects to undertake.

LOCUM CLERK SUPPORT

We have a list of experienced clerks who are available to work on a temporary basis. Once we’ve made the introductions, you make appropriate arrangements between yourselves. There is no fee for using this service if you are a subscribing council - simply contact us when the need arises and we will try our best to locate a locum clerk for you.

When you contact us please let us know as much of the following as you are able but don't worry if you haven't firmed-up your requirements yet.  We'll be happy to discuss these with you and provide advice and guidance.
