Thank you for a wonderfully informative networking session today.  I have learnt a lot in the short space of time.  Jacqueline

I enjoyed the session. In previous jobs I have always been part of a network group and always found that networking was a valuable learning tool. Whatever problem I had someone had already been there before and solved it! The more I moved up the more I was able to contribute.  I liked the informal setting which I think worked well.  James

I found the last session one of the best I have attended.  Maybe that was because I have been out of circulation for a while but it was certainly a good opportunity to catch up with what’s been happening!  More especially, I believe there was a good mix of items covered ranging from specific to general topics.  All of these were worthwhile.  The specifics were thought provoking providing an insight into the different and unexpected issues faced by some clerks.  The general topics were informative and good “signposts” to changes coming along affecting us all.   Philip

Thank you for the helpful and informative network meeting yesterday. The range of possible discussion points you prepared were very useful to act as a prompt for general discussion and in the job of Clerk, which is essentially a solitary one, it is always reassuring to talk to other Clerks and find that they also have problems or queries.  As always, your understanding and knowledge of the job we all do was brilliant and the professionalism of all the Norfolk PTS team is very reassuring - definitely my 'go-to' helpline if I need clarification on a point, however small!  Margaret

I thoroughly enjoyed the Clerk's Networking Morning specially as a brand new clerk. I got to meet other local clerks and understand that I am not alone in my role as there are lots to help from other clerks who are willing to assist.  Suzie

Many thanks for the document and a very worthwhile morning. I look forward to the next networking group. Linda

Thank you for organising the networking coffee session recently. It is the third I have attended and have found each one useful. It is so good for us to have contacts with other clerks in the local area, both for practical support (information, sharing contacts etc.) but also to know that others are having the same issues. In particular it is good to for new and more established clerks to meet. So much of our work is done on a solitary basis, and, the more we can work together, the less we are re-inventing the wheel, and the more we can keep our sanity!  Simon

Learnt a lot as always.  Judith

It's always really useful to meet with other Clerks and get other people's perspectives, ideas and advice.

I always come away with useful ideas and feeling positive.  I think the format works really well and there is always enough time and everyone is flexible enough to add in some of the adhoc questions that we always need a bit of advice with. Keep up the good work.  Clare
