THE NEW CLERK'S YEAR
We know that clerks have a tough job to do and often work in isolation. We have devised this course as the second part to the clerk's induction programme (we recommend attending the Induction course first).
The focus of this course is to help to keep on track with the council's year, what to expect throughout the year and how to plan ahead/feel organised.
This course is recommended for all new clerks and deputies with up to 18 months' experience.
Participants will share challenges, tackle issues together and provide support in what can be a lonely role.
Luisa shares her experiences as a clerk and those of others. One session is called 'Top tips from other clerks' is always a good talking point!
This course last ran in February 2018.
