Snettisham Parish Council is looking for a Parish Clerk/Responsible Finance Officer to work 20 hours per week, two days per week in the office, remainder of hours flexible.

Snettisham Parish Council is looking for a suitably experienced person to support the team of eleven Parish Councillors and two members of staff.

This is a varied and interesting role with some flexibility in terms of working arrangements, the office is to be open 2 days per week, with the remainder of the hours to be worked flexibly, plus monthly Council and Committee meetings in Snettisham.

Good organisational and communication skills are required, as well as a good working knowledge of IT including social media and wordpress websites, experience in finance is beneficial. A laptop, printer and phone are provided. Applicants should be self-motivated, able to work independently and to plan and manage their own workload.

Previous relevant experience is essential to this role. Support will be provided and the appointee will be encouraged to take advantage of training to improve their knowledge and skills. Handover from the current Locum Clerk will also be available.

NJC Pay Scales will apply depending on experience and qualifications between LC2 SCP 29 – 32, dependent on experience. LGPS membership is available.
