GREAT MOULTON PARISH CLERK

£14.60 to £15.58 per hour dependent on qualifications and experience
Membership of Norfolk Pension Fund
Our Council are seeking a new Clerk to be in post as soon as practicably possible.
Great Moulton is a small Parish of approximately 360 dwellings and a current Precept of £7,390. The Council does not own any buildings but has responsibility for provision of various facilities in the village.
Meetings of the Parish Council take place at the Coronation Hall on the second Thursday of every month, except August, which the Parish Clerk will be expected to attend. The work of the Parish Clerk will be home based. The Council uses RBS Alpha accounts software so experience of this would be an advantage.
A new Clerk should be made aware there may be extra hours involved due to various Solar Farm and BESS applications in and around the village sometimes necessitating attendance at other meetings. Extra hours will be paid at the appropriate rate. NJC annual leave and sickness arrangements apply together with optional entry to the Norfolk Pension Scheme.
Ideally the Council is looking to appoint an experienced Clerk with a CiLCA qualification but is open to applications from those with relevant experience in other areas. If the successful applicant is not in possession of a CiLCA the Council would expect this to be completed within the first year and training will be made available.
For a copy of the job description contact the Clerk - clerk.greatmoultonpc@gmail.com.
For an informal discussion please contact Carol Bailey BA (Hons) CiLCA MAC Chair of the Council on 07930 483895.
CLOSING DATE FOR APPLICATIONS: FRIDAY 30 MAY 2025
