
STARSTON CLERK & RFO

Starston Parish Council in South Norfolk requires a part-time, home-based Parish Clerk & Responsible Financial Officer. The position involves 20 hours per month, with some evening commitments. There are six Parish Council meetings and one Annual Parish meeting per year.
Applicants should have sound IT skills. They will also need experience in financial budgeting, and be able to prepare an agenda for meetings, and take accurate minutes. They will be required to follow up on actions on behalf of the Parish Council, and maintain and update the Parish Council section of the village website.
Applicants will need to be self-motivated, with good attention to detail, and have good communication skills.
CilCA qualification and previous experience is preferred but not essential, as training can be provided.
Salary is negotiable and will be paid in accordance with experience and qualifications. The SCP 15-19 range is £15.08 – £16.10 per hour.
