NPTS ASSOCIATES

The Norfolk PTS team have considerable experience between them across varying council sizes and topics. Sometimes though it can be helpful to bring in assistance from people with more detailed or specialist knowledge and experience. These are some of the people we work with, and through our network of contacts across Norfolk and beyond we're sure we can get the right help to support your council*.  If you would like to work with us as an associate, please get in touch with us.

Phil Brown

Phil Brown

Phil has been an independent data protection specialist since 2017, providing consultancy services to a wide variety of small businesses across Norfolk and the UK. Typically, his services focus on the proper implementation of the GDPR by organisations and even to assist them write policies and procedures, as well as liaising with the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO) on their behalf when necessary. Phil also provides advice and guidance to Parish and Town Councils through on-site and virtual training and assisting them on how to respond to Freedom of Information (FOI) requests and data subject access requests (DSAR). In this latter role, Phil is particularly well placed to understand the challenges facing councils, having been a parish councillor himself in Hindolveston, North Norfolk.

Rebekah Rayner

Rebekah Rayner

Rebekah is an independent HR Consultant with 20+ years' experience of working within Human Resources and Training. She is a Chartered Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Personnel & Development. Rebekah has gained her experience through working in small/medium national and international organisations, in retail, aviation, not-for-profit, telecoms and local councils.

She provides both contractual project support and adhoc HR advice, recognising that in smaller organisations a traditional 'one approach fits all' does not necessarily work. Rebekah is known for being pragmatic and coming up with innovative work solutions, as well as injecting humour into the sometimes dry topic of people management.

Steve Jackman

Steve Jackman

Steve has worked in public sector IT for more than 30 years, 10 of those with Broadland District Council in Norfolk as the IT Manager. He started building websites in 1993, working across central and local government, and more latterly parish councils. Married to a parish clerk, Steve understands the challenges that small councils face, and the often varied IT skills and knowledge that clerks posess!

Steve has helped more than 170 parish and town councils across Norfolk to build new websites, and worked with others to move them to 'the cloud'. As well as building new websites, Steve can help WIX website users to meet the Website Accessibility Regulations 2018.  He has created council websites in other counties (Suffolk, Derbyshire and Staffordshire so far).
