BUDGETING FOR MORE EXPERIENCED CLERKS
10 am - 12.30 pm
Preparing a budget is one of the most important pieces of work a Responsible Financial Officer (RFO) does. You've been through the process before but you want some formal training to help you to improve what you present to your council.
As part of the course we'll give you a template Excel spreadsheet to help you to present your budget clearly.
This course is recommended for RFOs who work for small to medium-sized councils who plan to use spreadsheets to create their council's next budget.

Brilliant! Every Clerk needs to go on this course as they will be guaranteed to pick up something new. So many helpful hints and tips, I am actually looking forward to refreshing my budgets at all my councils!
Very useful to refresh methods and ways of presenting budgets, even though councils all have their own foibles!
Brilliant session with lots to think about considering it was virtual I would definitely recommend.
